The Sterowanie24 team has created and published a web-based remote lighting control project and exhibition, and they are using OvenMediaEngine to stream it with low latency.

We would like to introduce you to a good use case of a successful online conference using OvenMediaEngine and OvenPlayer. This conference, held from August 18th to 19th, 2021, is called the IoTcube Conference 2021. The IoTcube Conference is a prestigious conference in computer security in Korea and is now in its 5th year. We were honored to use our technology at this conference.

Vitrag Mehta, an avid user of OvenMeidaEngine, has created a video conferencing and collaboration tool in-house. Let’s see how he/she used OME’s sub-second latency streaming technology.

We carried out several tests to perform the Sub-Second Latency Streaming concept of OvenMediaEngine in a better way. First, we announced each test result that used OBS and OvenLiveKit as live encoders last June through AirenSoft’s Twitter. Then, we executed the update of OvenLiveKit, OvenMediaEngine, and OvenPlayer after collecting the weak points found from the tests.

This is the 4th session of the Metadata series, and let me explain Audio Metadata. Note that this article is talking about the basics of audio metadata, not a reference to professional audio technology.

We are working OvenMediaEngine (OME), an open-source project that streams by a latency of less than 1 second and is available using WebRTC protocol. Furthermore, in the OME project, we intend to develop and introduce a P2P Delivery function that can save system resources and budget during streaming.
